1. Who We Are

Siska is operated by HelangMas, a Malaysian company. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data: your email address, collected at sign-up via magic link.
  • Usage data: drafts you create, credits used, subscription plan, and activity timestamps.
  • Payment data: billing records and transaction status. We do not store card numbers or full payment credentials — these are handled by Chip-in (our payment processor).
  • Content data: text you enter into the Composer and your Knowledge Base entries. This is used solely to generate and refine your content.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the Siska service.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g., magic link sign-in, billing receipts).
  • To improve the service through aggregate, anonymised usage analysis.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate Siska, including providers for cloud infrastructure and hosting, authentication and data storage, AI content generation, and payment processing. These providers are contractually bound to handle your data securely and only for the purposes of delivering our service. We do not authorise them to use your data for their own purposes.

Your content inputs (e.g. draft instructions) may be processed by our AI provider solely to generate the requested output.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and draft data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and your account is deleted, your data is removed within 30 days. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

Under PDPA, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@helangmas.com.

7. Cookies

Siska uses session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
